Mary E. Mayer

A non traditional image maker and creative visual story teller. I prefer analog film to the modern digital process and have an extensive collection of cameras I use regularly. Some of my favorites include  a Brownie Hawkeye Flash with a flipped lens, a vintage Leica rangefinder, a Leonardo pinhole, a Holga, Polaroids, as well as a Lumix point-and-shoot and a Nikon DSLR. I enjoy the spontaneity of street photography and love shooting informal portraits of friends, family and people I meet. I firmly believe there is a place in the fine art / photography world for humor and fun, and strive to explore themes that lend themselves to just that.

Please enjoy my galleries and feel free to contact me for collaboration, assignment work or the rights to reproduce any of my images.
